OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside Police Department is excited to invite the community to attend National Night Out 2026 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Oceanside Police Department.

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that brings neighbors, first responders, local organizations, and businesses together to strengthen partnerships and promote public safety in a fun, family-friendly environment.

This free event offers something for everyone, including:

• Free food vouchers for attendees (while supplies last)
• Oceanside Police Department station tours
• K-9 demonstrations
• Police drone demonstrations
• SWAT BearCat display
• Kids' activities and giveaways
• Live music
• Community resource booths and interactive exhibits

With thousands of attendees expected, National Night Out provides an opportunity for residents to meet the officers and professional staff who serve the community, learn about public safety programs, and connect with local organizations dedicated to making Oceanside a safer place to live, work, and play.

Community members are encouraged to bring family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy an evening of fun, education, and engagement with local public safety personnel and community partners.
