To help keep people biking and walking safe, the Oceanside Police Department will conduct a traffic safety operation on Saturday July 29, 2023, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This operation will focus on pedestrian and bicycle enforcement in areas or during events with a high number of pedestrian and/or bicycle crashes resulting from violations made by pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers.

Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
