Be prepared, be Ready Oceanside!
  • Sign up for Ready Oceanside Alerts to receive important local alerts by visiting our link in bio or text the word "Oceanside" to 67283.
  • Secure outdoor items.
  • Check your vehicle lights and wipers. Stay off roads during heavy rain and high winds if possible.
  • Visit your service provider for power outage info and updates. Do not dial 9-1-1 to report a power outage. SDGE has a website and mobile app for updates on outages. Visit : https://www.sdge.com/.../custome.../outage-center/outage-map
  • The City provides free sand and sandbags to Oceanside residents (ID required). You fill. Pick them up at Moody's El Corazon Recycling, located at 3210 Oceanside Boulevard. Moody's is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Call ahead before you go because Moody's sometimes closes during bad weather (760) 433-3316.
  •  Stay clear of downed power lines. Dial 9-1-1 to report downed power lines.

Whatever the weather, we’ll get through it together. If you need us, we are just one call away. Dial 9-1-1 for emergency response (760) 435-4900 for non-emergency response.

Stay safe, Oceanside!
