A 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 is in effect from late Saturday through Monday evening. Widespread heavy rainfall is expected with the heaviest rainfall Sunday night and early Monday. Flash flooding may occur.

- Secure outdoor items.
- Check your vehicle lights and wipers. Stay off roads during heavy rain and high winds if possible.

- The City provides free sand and sandbags to Oceanside residents (ID required). You fill. Pick them up at Moody's El Corazon Recycling, located at 3210 Oceanside Boulevard. Moody's is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Call ahead before you go because Moody's sometimes closes during bad weather (760) 433-3316.
- Stay clear of downed power lines. Dial 9-1-1 to report downed power lines.
