The Oceanside Public Library is thrilled to announce the return of Lunch at the Library, a free summer meal program designed to keep children and teens healthy, fed, and engaged during the school break. From June 16 to August 8, youth can enjoy a nutritious lunch and participate in enrichment activities at Oceanside Public Library. No registration or library card required. Alongside the meal program, the Library will host engaging programs as part of its Summer Reading Program, designed to promote reading for enjoyment and prevent summer learning loss.
Lunch at the Library is offered Monday through Friday for all kids ages 0-18 at:
- Civic Center Library (330 N. Coast Highway)
- John Landes Community Center Library (2855 Cedar Road)
- Joe Balderrama Park (709 San Diego Street)
Free Summer Lunch is made possible through the generous support of food sponsors, including the Oceanside Unified School District, Heaven’s Windows, and the Boys & Girls Club of NorthWest San Diego, and program support from the California State Library, Friends of the Oceanside Public Library, and ENGIE North America.
From books, e-books and e-audiobooks, to movies and toys, Oceanside Public Library offers access to the Library online or in-person at its multiple locations.
