OCEANSIDE CA, - On Monday, October 20, 2025, the Oceanside Police Department conducted surveillance and served a search warrant at a residence in the 4600 block of North River Road. The operation stemmed from an ongoing investigation involving two suspects wanted in connection with a residential burglary in Oceanside, during which a firearm, credit cards, and jewelry were stolen and believed to be in the suspects’ possession.

Detectives and uniformed officers were staged in a nearby parking lot in the Libby Lake area, utilizing both marked and unmarked police vehicles. It was brought to our attention that false information was shared online claiming this was an ICE immigration operation involving OPD. This is not true. No federal officers were involved in this investigation.
