OCEANSIDE, CA — On January 29, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Oceanside Police Department officers responded to reports involving a stabbing near Seagaze Drive and Cleveland Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition. 

Through the course of the investigation, officers quickly located security video related to the incident. Detectives were able to identify a juvenile suspect believed to be involved. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody and booked into Juvenile Hall on charges related to attempted murder.

This investigation is being led by the Oceanside Police Department’s Special Enforcement Section (SES) and remains ongoing. Due to the involvement of juveniles, no additional information will be released at this time.
